Michael Essien hints at getting into coaching after retirement

Ghana international Michael Essien has revealed his desire to become a Coach after retirement.



The Persib midfielder Coached a non-League side in Indonesia in a five aside football game.

Essien who is still playing active football took to social media (Twitter) to post a picture of himself and his team sending a strong signal he could venture into Coaching after football.

The 33-year-old expressed his delight in taking up his first Coaching role.

“Great experience to become a coach,if u want to support me & my team use #TeamEssien let's do this! @gojekindonesia,” he posted.

The former Chelsea star signed for Perib in the Indonesian top-flight after leaving Greek Club Panathiankos.
